Autumn Winter Outer Wear

We are almost into the last quarter of the year, and yes it's time to look out for Autumn Jackets and Winter Coats for the season.

Personally if I were to look for something to wear overseas, I would want to get a jacket or coat that is about less than S$150. No point spending too much money knowing that when the following autumn winter season comes again I would want to buy another one. :)

The ones that I see at the local retail stores are really expensive ranging from $200 to even close to $400. Too much for me to spend. But of course if you have a huge budget, please do not hesitate.

Best colors that are easy to match would be the classic Black or Gray for winter coats. However I would go for something perhaps in Brown or Cream colored coats, it never goes out of season. Every year I would see the same colors displayed in the local stores. Yes, sometimes it's good to recycle it. If you are adventurous and love bright colors, then perhaps even a Red winter coat ala Little Red Riding Hood would be pretty. I'm sure it will light up the pictures that you take with the Red coat in it. :)

(I might be getting a Red Coat for my upcoming travels as I've always longed to have one)

I'm not a fashionista but I prefer to work within a budget if I'm getting an outfit. Of course it should compliment me and not make me look fat and ugly. LOL. Yeah some Autumn Winter outfits tend to do that as you have many layers to it.  Getting a good thick and warm coat should do the trick and having your inner wear in perhaps cashmere wool would keep you warm. Heat retaining inner wear is also advisable, even if the layer is thin. ( I got mine from Uniqlo last year, they should have it soon since september is coming)

Hope this helps.

Cheers
