Cold Winter Outer Wear Tips - Guide One

Going overseas for a holiday? Traveling to destinations that are cold and have no idea what to wear? Here's a little help for you.

Six degrees & under

  1. Inner Wear
    • wool, polyester or cotton thermal wear ( I would suggest wool for real good warmth or cotton for comfort)
    • Thermal Heat Leggings ( you can buy them from Uniqlo, we don't earn from them, but just a good and cheap suggestion for our customers who are clueless)
    • Bra & Undies - padded bras do help to keep you warm, undies would suggest bikini types or you could opt for boy shorts that work to cover up the butt area. If you are thinking of wearing a dress or skirt, it would be highly recommended to get thicker undies if you don't want to get a frozen butt.
  2. Middle layers
    • Sweaters or Cardigans ( preferably in 100% wool, merino or cashmere wool is highly recommended, it's light weight and does the job of keeping warm)
    • Long sleeve tops or turtle necks
    • Down feathered Vest or Wool Vest
  3. Outer Wear
    • Down feathered jackets
    • Wool coat
  4. Accessories
    • Hat (beanie hats are both fashionable and keeps the head area warm)
    • Gloves
    • Scarf (it's a must! Neck has to be kept warm)
    • Ear Muffs ( good to have especially if you have short hair)
    • Wooly socks
    • Boots or cold weather shoes
Here's some pics of some essentials needed :
